Tapflo Metal Series Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps:

The common feature of this pump series is its compact and simple design. The number of parts has been reduced to the bare minimum. Aluminum pumps are used in areas such as:

Tapflo pulp and paper industry (adhesives, sodium silicates, dyes and titanium oxide, sampling)

Tapflo paint industry (water and solvent-based paints, inks, varnishes, adhesives, binders and solvents)

Tapflo wastewater treatment

Extended Life Diaphragms:

Tapflo diaphragms are composite constructions, ideal for heavy-duty applications, providing a completely homogeneous surface in contact with the medium. This avoids leaks through the diaphragm and keeps it clean. Diaphragms are available in various materials such as EPDM, NBR, FKM, PTFE, PTFE TFM™ 1705b, to meet any requirement. Our diaphragms can achieve over 80,000,000 cycles.

PTFE Diaphragms:

The PTFE or PTFE TFM™ 1705b layer of the diaphragm creates a closed surface for the liquid. The integrated light metal support core and fabric reinforcement meet high strength requirements. Both materials have a smooth surface, resulting in an excellent non-stick surface, ideal for paints, inks, pigments and adhesives. PTFE TFM™ 1705b diaphragms are characterized by higher mechanical strength, due to less deformation under load and better flex fatigue properties. Lower porosity and permeability make it an ideal choice for penetrating liquids such as solvents.

PTFE Coating:

The optional PTFE coating on aluminum pumps serves as a non-stick surface, ideal for adhesives and binders. It also provides additional cleaning capabilities, desirable when pumping multiple paints, inks and pigments with a single pump.

Filter Presses:

Tapflo pumps for filter presses are compact units that can be mounted directly on the filter press. The design and functionality allows the user to directly pump slurries at pressures up to 16 bar. The unit is equipped with a housing reinforcement, an external pressure booster, which can even double the inlet pressure, and a high-pressure air valve.
