Technical Sales Representative | Denmark


Tapflo pumps and flow equipment are used across a wide range of global industries.
At our modern factory in Poland, we develop and manufacture pumps and flow equipment for sectors including the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.

We are pursuing an ambitious growth strategy for the Danish market, and are therefore seeking a competent and trustworthy Technical Sales Representative. 

About the role:

As a Technical Sales Representative, you are the first person a prospective Tapflo customer meets, and you are the one who will shape the customer’s positive experience with Tapflo for many years to come. 

You will be a key member of a small national team within a global company with around 450 colleagues spread across 30 countries. In your day-to-day work, you will primarily be visiting Danish customers and working from your home office. A high degree of independence and drive is essential, and your opinion is highly valued within the “flat” management structure we have at the Tapflo Group. 

Together, we aim to expand Tapflo’s presence in Denmark through an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales responsibility for Jutland (residence in Central or Southern Jutland)
  • Working primarily with leads and secondarily with outbound sales, from initial contact until the equipment is operational
  • Providing advice, clarifying requirements, preparing quotations and following up
  • Implementing action plans based on customer feedback and Tapflo’s overall strategy

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical sales to the industry (external role)
  • Commercial acumen
  • Solid technical grounding through education and/or practical experience
  • IT-literate, preferably with knowledge of e-conomics and WebCRM
  • Danish and English, both written and spoken, at C1–C2 level
  • Valid driving licence (Category B)
  • Resident in Central or Southern Jutland

Practical information:

  • Place of work: At customer sites in Jutland, based at a home office, with occasional visits to the company’s premises in Hirtshals, the head office near Gothenburg, and the factory in Poland
  • Start up: As soon as possible (interviews are held on an ongoing basis)
