1980 - Temag Pumpar Sweden established

Founded in Sweden in 1980, Temag Pumpar revolutionized the pump industry with its compact, pneumatic diaphragm pumps. Furthermore, it proved that focusing on customer needs and innovation can drive the success of smaller companies.

1985 - Tapflo Sweden established. First pump manufactured in Sweden

In 1985, Temag Pumpar was renamed Tapflo Pumps, introducing a pioneering air-operated diaphragm pump. The constructed pump was a clear signal that we translate our passion and commitment into real products supporting the industry and willingly set new trends in pump motorering.

1991 - Establishment of Tapflo Poland

In 1991, Tapflo Poland was established, expanding the company’s global reach.

1992 - First product exported from Sweden

In 1992, Tapflo becomes a global player in the pump market. The first products begin to be exported from Sweden. This was a significant moment in the company’s history, in which we proved that our devices are gaining recognition abroad.

1994 - Establishment of a sales department in Poland and the market launch of the first aluminum pump.

Since 1994, we have been closer to our customers in Poland. That’s when Tapflo opened its sales department in the country and presented an innovative, aluminum pump, which immediately gained recognition on the market. This decision allowed us to better respond to the needs of European customers and develop our business in key industries, such as chemicals and water purification. Thanks to this, the Scandinavian brand’s industrial pumps have become even more competitive and adapted to local expectations.

1997 - Establishment of Tapflo UK and introduction of the stainless steel cast pump

In 1997, Tapflo took another step forward, opening a branch in the UK. By creating Tapflo UK, we expanded our presence in Europe and gained even better contact with the demanding British market. It was then that we also introduced a new, cast stainless steel pump – designed for industries that do not compromise: food, pharmaceutical and chemical. Thanks to its increased corrosion resistance and exceptional durability, the pump quickly gained the trust of the most demanding customers.

1998 - Tapflo Italy established

In 1998, Tapflo opened another branch, Tapflo Italy. We saw huge potential in this area and confirmed our commitment to fulfilling diverse customer needs. We strengthened local relationships while delivering top-class pump solutions for Italy and the world.

1999 - Tapflo Denmark was founded

In 1999, Tapflo focused on customer proximity and opened a branch in Denmark. The Scandinavian market has been known for years for its high quality standards and emphasis on the reliability of equipment in harsh working conditions. That’s why our local presence has allowed us not only to react faster to customer needs, but also to adapt our offer to the specifics of local industries – from food processing to chemical production.

2001 - Tapflo RPA established, sales to East Asia commenced.

In 2001, Tapflo boldly entered new markets, opening a branch in South Africa and starting sales in East Asia. This was a response to the growing demand for modern and reliable pumping solutions in dynamically developing regions. Thanks to these initiatives, we could be closer to customers, better understand their needs, and support local industries in their daily challenges. This is further proof that for Tapflo, global development always means real value for the customer.

2002 - Tapflo Iberica company was founded. Powder pumps and ATEX pumps were introduced.

In 2002, Tapflo opened another important office for its development – Tapflo Iberica. The company also presented two new product lines: powder pumps for the food and pharmaceutical industries and ATEX pumps for safety in the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.

2004 - Establishment of Tapflo Ukraine. Introduction of CT pumps and creation of a new factory in Poland

In 2004, Tapflo took another step forward, opening a branch in Ukraine and strengthening its position in Europe. It was then that CT pumps entered the market, quickly becoming the answer to the needs of modern industry, offering reliability and versatility in working with various media. At the same time, a new Tapflo factory was built in Poland – an investment that not only increased production capacity, but also confirmed our commitment to providing the highest quality pumping solutions for customers worldwide.

2005 - Tapflo established in Romania, France, India and China. Company of the year in Sweden and launch of the EHEDG pump

In 2005, Tapflo expanded its operations to Romania, France, India, and China. Tapflo’s expansion and development were also recognized in its native Sweden, where the company won the title of “Company of the Year” in Sweden. The new EHEDG pump showcased Tapflo’s exceptional commitment to meeting the stringent hygiene standards of the food and pharmaceutical industries.

2006 - Tapflo Bulgaria established

In 2006, Tapflo entered Bulgaria, recognizing the dynamic development of industry and the growing demand for modern pumping solutions. The new branch not only expanded our European network, but also enabled the implementation of solutions tailored to the needs of rapidly developing companies in the manufacturing and food sectors.

2007 - Tapflo Turkey and Tapflo Ireland are established. Introduction of the 3” PE and PTFE pump.

In 2007 Tapflo expanded its global reach with branches in Turkey and Ireland. The introduction of the 3″ PE and PTFE pump reflected Tapflo’s desire to seek pioneering fluid pumping technology.

2008 - Biggest European diaphragm pump producer

In 2008, Tapflo officially became the largest European manufacturer of diaphragm pumps, demonstrating its commitment to motorering excellence and top-tier fluid transfer solutions. Tapflo became synonymous with reliability and efficiency, and the brand’s products gained even greater popularity.

2009 - Establishment of Tapflo Czech Republic, Slovakia and Kazakhstan

In 2009, Tapflo strengthened its presence in Central Europe by opening a branch, Tapflo Czech Republic & Slovakia. This allowed us to be even closer to our partners and respond more quickly to the needs of regional industry for reliable fluid transfer solutions. At the same time, we expanded our operations in Central Asia — Tapflo’s presence in Kazakhstan became an important support for local industries, confirming our commitment to delivering innovative, durable, and efficient pump technologies wherever they are needed.

2010 - Establishment of Tapflo Baltic & Serbia.

2010 was another dynamic stage in Tapflo’s development — Tapflo Baltic and Tapflo Serbia joined our family. We thus expanded our operations to the Baltic and Balkan regions, strengthening local relationships and providing proven solutions for demanding industries.

2012 - Establishment of Tapflo Austria

In 2012, Tapflo Austria opens, the Scandinavian brand gains recognition among local entrepreneurs and business representatives. This strengthens Tapflo as a European leader.

2013 - Establishment of Tapflo America, Georgia and Uzbekistan

2013 was a year of intensive expansion into new, promising markets for Tapflo. Tapflo America, Tapflo Georgia, and Tapflo Uzbekistan joined our global network. Thanks to these investments, we were able to respond even more effectively to the changing needs of customers on different continents, offering reliable and modern solutions for fluid transfer. This year also confirmed that Tapflo’s development is not only about new locations on the map – it is primarily about closeness to the customer and a quick response to dynamically changing challenges in the industry.

2014 - Establishment of Tapflo Japan.

In 2014, Tapflo expanded its operations into the Asian market, launching Tapflo Japan.

2017 - Introduction of intelligent TC diaphragm pumps

In 2017, Tapflo launched the intelligent TC diaphragm pumps, increasing the efficiency and control of their offered products. The TC pump series is based on Tapflo’s standard air-operated diaphragm pump solutions, but is powered by low-pressure compressed air and allows for better regulation of the pump’s operation.

2018 - Tapflo Benelux established. Introduction of FT filters and CTP plastic centrifugal pumps.

In 2018, Tapflo opens Tapflo Benelux. The company introduces FT filters and CTP centrifugal plastic pumps to its portfolio.

2019 - Establishment of Tapflo Oceania. Introduction of electrically operated double diaphragm pumps and STEINLE pumps for filter presses

In 2019, Tapflo expanded its operations with Tapflo Oceania, introducing electrically operated double diaphragm pumps and STEINLE filter press pumps to broaden its product offering and remain innovative in the fluid handling industry.

2020 - Tapflo Croatia and Hungary established. Introduction of CTX premium centrifugal pumps

In 2020 Tapflo expanded its operations with Tapflo Croatia and Hungary in Central and Eastern Europe. Tapflo also introduced the CTX premium centrifugal pumps, showing its commitment to innovation and expanding its product range.

2021 - Tapflo begins design/production of its own peristaltic pump.

In 2021, Tapflo motorered its peristaltic hose pump, highlighting its commitment to innovation and global expansion in fluid handling.

2022 - Large-scale factory expansion in Poland. Tapflo introduces new IBC mixing station, huge increase in sales of motorered solutions.

In 2022, Tapflo expanded its factory in Poland, introduced the IBC mixing station, and achieved significant growth in sales of motorered solutions.

2023 - Tapflo Gulf established.

We presented our global brand at the Gulf food exhibition in the United Arab Emirates, strengthening our market presence.

2025 - Tapflo Canada established

Due to changes in the way we think about our impact on the environment, we are proud to present EODD – Electric Diaphragm Pumps. The product follows a modern approach but is still based on the original diaphragm pump technology, which has proven to be very effective. We consulted with our customers, who expressed a need for the features and benefits of a traditional diaphragm pump, but with the added advantage of lower operating costs. The pump is powered by a high-efficiency electric motor (IE3 class) and there is no chance of hydraulic fluid leakage, as the pump simply does not need it.

A Filter Press Pump is a specialized type of pump designed to fill a filter press with a slurry or suspension from an external storage or disposal facility, typically used in solid-liquid separation processes, typically at high pressures reaching 24 bar.

Tapflo Filter Press Pumps are known for their robust construction, reliable performance, and ability to handle high-pressure applications with ease. They are equipped with a non-return valve to prevent backflow and are available in various materials to suit different process requirements. Air operated filter press pumps have the unique feature that when the filter press is full, they stop and no additional safety systems are required to shut down the pump (like in case of electrically operated filter press pumps).

Tapflo offers a wide range of centrifugal pumps made of stainless steel and PP and PVDF plastics, including horizontal or vertical pumps, as well as magnetically driven pumps. Available in hygienic and industrial designs, Tapflo centrifugal pumps are among the most versatile pumps currently available on the market. Selected pumps can be designed for safe contact with food and are also available in ATEX explosion-proof versions.

Hose pump is a type of positive displacement pump that can be used to pump a wide variety of liquids. Tapflo industrial hose pumps use the principle of peristalsis, whereby the deformation and compression of a soft elastomer hose allows the liquid to pass through the device.

Pumps of this type are the best solution for delicate, corrosive, abrasive or dry media, including those containing solid particles. The special design, in which only the hose comes into contact with the pumped product, reduces operating costs by reducing wear on internal components and allows operation in very demanding conditions.

The SOMA SINUSOIDAL Positive Displacement Pump works according the Sinusoidal PUMP principle, which was developed by Manfred Sommer in 1982. The Sinusoidal curve shaped rotor is fitted on a pump shaft. Due to the design, four chambers are created in which the product will be transferred very gently – without any shear or damage to the product.
A scraper divides the suction and the pressure side. The rotor does not run against the housing or the cover. That means, that the housing and the cover will never wear out. SOMA offers an unlimited guarantee for the cover and the housing.

IBC containers and drums are widely used in industry – they are the simplest way to store and transport various liquids. Since many of these liquids must be mixed before use in the process, we offer a range of dedicated industrial mixers. These are simple, yet robust and safe to operate, high-quality devices. Designed and configured for common industrial applications, they enable mixing directly in the IBC container or drum. Thanks to the use of mixers, intermediate tanks can be omitted and the process becomes faster and more economical.

Simplify the unloading of highly viscous liquids with our High Viscosity System Quattro-type (HVS Quattro). It is designed for high-volume applications where multiple drums (typically four) are stored on pallets. Unloading drums containing highly viscous liquids has become more efficient and precise with our High Viscosity System Flexi-type (HVS Flexi). This system simplifies the task, providing automation and effective product-saving features. The HVS Flexi ensures a smooth unloading experience, allowing you to concentrate on other important tasks while achieving an impressive product removal rate of up to 99%. It is suitable for applications with low to moderate volumes, such as supplying filling or packing lines directly.

Experience efficient and safe tank emptying operations with our flexible Unloading System. Designed to handle IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers), Mauser, Goodpack or Bag-in-Box® containers, totes, drums, barrels, and various other storage vessels, this system efficiently manages both low and high-viscosity products across a wide range of industries. Using a reliable suction lance mechanism, its innovative design and customizable control system ensure optimal performance while maintaining the highest industrial safety standards.

SLES* is an organic chemical compound with excellent cleaning and foaming properties. For this reason, it is commonly used in the production of cleaning agents, soaps, shampoos, and household chemicals. SLES is typically supplied to manufacturers of these liquids at a 70% concentration, and due to its physical properties, such a concentrated solution is difficult to process and must be diluted below 27% before being used in the production line. Our system enables continuous dilution with maximum efficiency and safety, reducing costs for the company in the long term.

Achieving precise mixing of ingredients to obtain the desired final product—while maintaining strict proportions, accuracy, and sequence—poses a major challenge for industrial manufacturers. The mixer was created specifically for this purpose. It is based on a system for diluting concentrated ingredients such as SLES.
