1. Quick disassembly Tri-clamp system ensures quick and easy disassembly without the use of additional tools. |
| 2. Variety of connections The pump is supplied as standard with SMS3017/ISO2037 clamp connections. However, the pump can be equipped with almost any type of connection used in the hygienic industry – DIN 11851 thread, SMS 1145 thread, DIN 11864 aseptic connections and others. |
|
| 3. Environmentally friendly pneumatic drive The air distributor features an oil-free design, leaving the pumped medium and the environment free from contamination. |
|
| 4. Homogeneous surfaces Multi-layer diaphragms have a homogeneous surface, which eliminates the problem of bacteria build-up. The diaphragms are made of food-grade materials: PTFE, white EPDM or NBR FDA. |
|
| 5. Perfect finish Both the wetted and external sides are electropolished for a perfect finish and hygiene. Special surface finish on customer request. |

Empty the pump by turning it on the stand* For complete disassembly of the pump, simply unclip the clamps securing the nozzles and unscrew the bolts connecting the housing. Then simply rotate the pump to pour out the remaining medium. The design of the pumps in this series allows for full visual inspection of the parts in contact with the pumped medium. There are no hidden spaces where bacteria could grow. The pump can also be cleaned and sterilized directly in the installation (CIP and SIP). *applies to models T80-T825 |

The Tapflo diaphragm pump is powered by compressed air. Two diaphragms work alternately, pushing liquid into the pumping system. Ball valves act as check valves, directing the liquid in the right direction.
During each cycle, the air pressure behind the discharge diaphragm is equal to the liquid lift height on the medium side. This means that Tapflo diaphragm pumps can operate with a closed discharge valve without negatively impacting diaphragm life.
SUCTION
The retracting diaphragm creates a vacuum, and thus the phenomenon of medium suction.
DISCHARGE
The second diaphragm simultaneously transfers air pressure to the medium in the second diaphragm chamber, pushing it towards the discharge port.

Check Valves
Tapflo check valves are used for pumping liquids containing large solid particles. They consist of only two elements and are hygienic and easy to clean. They allow pumping larger solid particles than standard hygienic pumps:
In addition, Tapflo hygienic diaphragm pumps equipped with check valves can dry-run from a height of up to 4.5 m. |
| Magnetic Ball Valve Lifters
The ability to empty the pump contents is crucial in most hygienic applications. The Tapflo ball valve lifting system ensures pump emptying without the need to dismantle it from the installation when other emptying methods are not possible. This way, the pump can be emptied without the need to rotate it. Operating principle: The ball valve, made of AISI 420 or PTFE with a steel core, is lifted by a magnetic lifter mounted on the manifold. |

| Extended Life Diaphragms
Tapflo diaphragms are composite constructions, ideal for operation in harsh conditions, providing a completely uniform surface in contact with the medium. This avoids leaks through the diaphragm and keeps it clean. Diaphragms are available in various materials and colors to suit all needs. Available material versions: EPDM, NBR, FKM, PTFE, PTFE TFM 1705b, white EPDM, PTFE with white EPDM backing, white NBR. ![]() The advanced manufacturing, curing, trimming, and finishing process ensures a long service life for the composite diaphragm, which will withstand millions of strokes. The component materials are specially made and adapted to the composite diaphragm technology and the molding process with pressing. |

Economical Power Supply – Air Distributors
The air distributor, which redirects compressed air to the chambers behind the diaphragms, is the heart of the pump. The distributor is located in the center of the pump between the diaphragms to minimize the air path and dead spots. This design is key to reliable and economical operation. Thanks to a special sealing system, the distributor does not require lubrication. This not only saves money but also protects the environment. Available material versions: brass, PET, and AISI 316L stainless steel |
| Ball Check Valves
Tapflo pumps are equipped with four check valves to ensure that the liquid is pumped in the right direction. Available material versions: EPDM, NBR, PTFE, PTFE TFM 1635, PE1000, FKM, PU, Ceramic, SiC, AISI 316L. |

| Double Diaphragm Pumps | TB Series
Designed for hazardous applications, such as chemicals. The use of a double diaphragm significantly reduces the risk of leakage of potentially hazardous or valuable media into the air distribution system and the surrounding environment. Features and Benefits:
The Tapflo TB double diaphragm pump (also known as a barrier pump) is safer than other barrier systems available on the market. It is part of our range of pumping equipment that monitors and responds to leaks, ensuring the containment of the pumped medium. For additional pump monitoring, we recommend the use of additional accessories, such as the GuardianTM alarm system. |

| Smart Energy-Saving Pumps | TC Series
The TC series smart pumps are a modification of standard diaphragm pumps by equipping them with LEAP technology introduced by Tapflo. LEAP® or “Low Energy Air Pump” is a patented technology used in air-operated diaphragm pumps to reduce the minimum operating air pressure by minimizing internal losses and friction compared to standard pumps. LEAP uses an intermediate system that detects the position of the diaphragm shaft, automatically controlling the diaphragm movement. A pump with LEAP® technology can start pumping at 0.3 bar without stalling – in the test, the pump achieved 70% of its maximum capacity before other pumps even started. This translates to energy savings of up to 70%. Features and Benefits:

| Alarm System | GuardianTM
The GuardianTM system is an energy-saving device designed to protect an air-operated double diaphragm pump from inefficient operation, which consumes unnecessary energy and shortens the life of parts. It also increases work safety in high-risk applications. The GuardianTM system monitors the liquid pressure, changing it if the pressure value rises or falls below the set value. It thus controls pumps in the following cases:
