Tapflo introduces a set of revolutionary pumping solutions.

Dear Friends,

We always try to carefully listen to our customers' expectations and also to follow global pumping trends.
In response to this we are launching some long awaited product updates that include:

Built-on dampener for diaphragm pumps
The Tapflo pump with a built-on dampener combines the advantages of our standard pumps with the active pulsation dampener in a compact manner. If you are looking for an effective way to eliminate pressure variations on the pump discharge and you have limited space in your installation, the built-on dampener is an ideal solution. The dampener housing is also the pump manifold so you do not have to worry about connecting the dampener to the pump. This solution does not affect the pump flow nor the dampening effect. Available in pump sizes TR20, T50 and T100 and all material executions.

Heavy duty integrated flange for plastic diaphragm pumps
Pumps with integrated flanges are a robust and solid design. When there is a risk of transferring of vibration from the installation to the pump, the solid manifolds provide better stability and sealing for the pump. Using this solution we can connect the pump to the installation by a flange (DIN, ANSI) or through a BSP thread.
Available in pump sizes T50, T100, T200 and T400 and all material executions.

Sanitary heavy duty ball cup valves for sanitary series diaphragm pumps
The range of optional valves for sanitary pumps sizes T225 and T425 consists also of heavy duty ball cup valves. The ball valve cup is made in one piece with the valve seat. It is mounted on the pump with clamps therefore ensuring easy maintenance and cleaning. This option is a perfect solution when there is risk of damage to the valve seats form the product. If such situation is to occur there is no need to replace the whole manifolds or housings, just the valve cup what drastically reduces the spare parts cost.

Filter units
Cartridge filters with 1, 3 or 7 cartridges are standalone units that can be combined with CTV vertical pumps or ordered as a complete, compact unit equipped with a CTM mag drive pump. The cartridges are available in porosities of 1, 10, 20 and 50 µm and provide up to an excellent 95% filtering efficiency. The filter is available in PP.

Tapflo Asian Distributors Meeting 2015

March 26-28 | Bali | Indonesia

On 26-28 of March Tapflo Group will hold 4 th Asian Distributors Meeting.The venue place is Bali/Indonesia this time. The bi-annual meeting is a great opportunity to exchange experience with Tapflo staff and other Tapflo distributors from all around the world and learn more about our company and products. There will also be time for team-building activities and informal socializing.

Tapflo at Food Pack Asia in Thailand

Tapflo particiapted in Food Pack Asia in co operation with S Reich Co Ltd.

Food Pack Asia 2015 is the most comprehensive platform for ASEAN food and packaging industry. The show focuses on new technology, machinery and business solutions to serve the growing food and packaging industry in Thailand and ASEAN .



Safety was a major concern, in regards to the risk of spillage as well as the risk for explosions.

Tapflo Denmark was contacted by an engineer in charge of projects in one of Denmark’s largest, engineering companies cooperating with Novo Nordisk. He recalled the Tapflo experience from some previous projects where Tapflo pumps were supplied.

Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with 90 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care. The company also has leading positions within haemophilia care, growth hormone therapy and hormone replacement therapy. Novo Nordisk employs approximately 41,500 employees in 75 countries, and markets its products in more than 180 countries.

For Novo Nordisk, the above mentioned engineer required a pump that could replace existing centrifugal pumps of competitor supplier, that were difficult to control and with long lead time on both pump and spare parts. Safety was a major concern, in regards to the risk of spillage as well as the risk for explosions. The pump also had to designed with drainage in mind, and pulsations was to be minimized.

The original request was for the pump only, but after presenting the possibilities with the Tapflo Guardian system, a special pump execution was created. The pump ended up with the code: TXBK50TTB-3TMH4T. The code tells us that the pump is with a barrier system, integrated pulsation dampener, conductive PTFE pump housing and Hastelloy-C clamp ports. The pump was fitted onto a special stand with a drip pan, that allow drainage as with our standard sanitary pumps.

Both our Engineering and Production team came through, with a swift engineering process and a short lead time on the unit.

This unique pump is now installed at the pharmaceutical plant Novo Nordisk, close to Copenhagen.
An order for a back-up pump will be placed, when the customer has gathered experience in the use of the pump and its control system. Tapflo Denmark is now on Novo Nordisk´s suppliers list, and will be involved also in future projects.

Tapflo within its continuous process of production quality development and production plant upgrade is still growing in numbers of production area and hi-tech manufacturing equipment.
The INTEGREX i-400ST advanced Multi-Tasking machine delivers maximum versatility and throughput for medium to large complex parts. It combines the capabilities of a high-powered turning center and full-function machining center to produce parts in single setups.
Such a big and complicated machinery needs a special treatment during transportation and installation.
Upgrading a production machinery is an element of Tapflo’s strategy of continuous development and assuring the highest possible quality of manufactured pumps and accessories.
